As part of Studio North, I created marketing material for the Banff Multifamily project including renders, presentation drawings, and a unique site fence on Banff Avenue.
This project is Studio North’s winning entry to the Town of Banff’s call for a sustainable and affordable multi-family design-build project on Banff Avenue. The project draws upon the truly sustainable building practices of Banff’s traditional architecture. External circulation, an open courtyard and double aspect dwellings connect residents with their natural surroundings while maximizing natural day lighting and passive cross ventilation. The use of exposed structural heavy timber, which can be seen in historic architecture the Rocky Mountains, is both a unique and sustainable advantage to building in these areas as a locally available and renewable material.
